Taiko drumming is a marvel to hear, see and feel in performance. Since it’s inception in 1987, Burlington Taiko Group has been played hundreds of performances including at the 100th running of the Boston Marathon, the Joseph Campbell – Keepers of the Lore festival, the Black Ships Festival, Burlington’s First Night and many colleges and in towns throughout the country. Burlington Taiko combines movement, rhythm, voice, and the efficient and graceful movement of chi, or “energy,” from the player to the drum.
