Robert Resnik and Carol Scrimgeour have been providing music programs for young children and their parents since the early 1990s. Sales of their 1998 album, Like the Birdies Sing, helped raise more than $3,000 for children's programming at Burlington's Fletcher Free Library, where both of them are employed as librarians. Gigi Weisman began playing music with Resnik as a volunteer at singalongs in 1997, and appears with the others on a November 2000 release, A Little Bit Jumbled and Jivey. Resnik and Weisman still perform at over 70 well-attended singalong shows a year at the Fletcher Free Library. We are delighted to welcome them back for a second Festival appearance. |
